Orchard Percussion Studio has been established for over twenty years with many students going on to successful careers within the music industry and teaching. Joining Paul at Orchard Percussion Studios are drum tutors Andrew Dowding, Adrian Kemp, Jim Read and Tom White. The tutors have many years teaching experience between them and have worked with various artists and bands.

Orchard Percussion Studio is run to a very high standard with its own syllabus. Students are taught acording to their individual needs, from beginners to advanced levels in all aspects of theory and practical drumming, covering all styles of playing. Orchard Percussion Studios offers students the chance to radically improve their playing. Students have the option to take the Trinity Guildhall Percussion Examinations at Orchard Percussion Studios. These examinations are universally recognised, being used in over fifty countries and are highly regarded as reliable assessments.

The studios are all fully equipped with drum kits and have the benefit of air-conditioning and the facility to record students playing. There is also a separate studio for band rehearsals.

Orchard Percussion Studios have hosted drum clinics by many of the world's top class players including Peter Erskine, Dave Weckl, Steve Smith, Thomas Lang, Jim Chapin, Gary Chaffee, Clem Cattini, Crissy Lee, Steve Houghton, Stanton Moore, Billy Ward, Jim Kilpatrick, Chuck Silverman.

Orchard Percussio Studios endorses Zildjian cymbals; Sonor drums; Pro-Mark sticks; Protection Racket cases; and Real-Feel pads.

Orchard Percussion Studios are located in Great Horkesley, Colchester, Essex.
